I have to say that it was just magical to lay in the bed watching fireflies butts glowing in the trees at night. You have enough coverage for privacy while also having enough openness to remind you of the beautiful setting outside. The half covered dome is perfect for a unique getaway in nature. Ok, now that you’ve got the basics covered, we can get into the good stuff. If it’s your first time going off the grid or you’re a little nervous about this type of trip, it’s a great place to start. I’m not saying it as if it’s a bad thing, just sharing so you know what to expect. Kind of like a shared, spacious campsite. You share the same toilets and I would be walking past the other sites to get to the stream. Everyone is not close enough to be in each others back pockets, but close enough to notice each other. I went there thinking it would be super secluded and private, but the other two domes are all in the same area. This is one thing that surprised me and I wanted to mention here. There’s a small battery in the dome which is really handy to be able to charge your camera. I recommend the Epic Wipes which are huge, eco-friendly wipes that I use and they smell incredible! Port-a-loo’s are on site and I will say that by port-a-loo standards, they are probably the cleanest I’ve ever used.įor showering, you can rinse off in the stream (without soap) and/or use shower wipes.
